Elevate your next backyard campout with a glamping experience from Pop Up BNB. If you have ever wondered where you can go glamping in Ohio, the Pop-Up BNB offers private rentals for your backyard, camping tours, and special events.
Whether it is a celebration, a birthday, or a first-time campout, the luxury glamping experience from Pop-Up BNB is unmatched.
We want to thank Kelly and Andy at the Pop-Up BNB for sponsoring this incredible glamping experience. As always, my opinions are my own.
Who Is The Pop-Up BNB
The Pop-Up BNB is the brainchild of Kelly and Andy Emilianowicz. I knew we would get along immediately because I loved their backstory. They sold their belonging to move into a motorhome that they renovated into a tiny home! Since then, they have traveled full-time with their glamorous pop-up tent business.
One quote I fell in love with in their bio is, “We ultimately just wanted people to be able to see + experience the things we get to while traveling on the road.” That is the exact same feeling I have about my travel blog. Therefore, I am thrilled to showcase their fantastic business so that you can create a phenomenal getaway, even if it is in your own backyard.
Did I mention they have the sweetest fur baby!
What Type Of Rentals Do They Offer
There are a variety of different packages available to create the glamping experience of your dreams. The Bare Bones Package provides only the tent without the furnishings, while the Standard Overnight Package is a fully-furnished tent, perfect for two guests. There are a variety of add-ons that you can add to your glamping package as well.
If you are hosting an event, the Pop-Up BNB offers Photoshoot Rental, Canopy Rental, and Pop-Up Tent Villages for larger events and weddings.
All rentals include set-up and tear down of the tents. They have a wide variety of tent sizes as well, depending on how many are in your party.
TIP: Keep in mind that rental prices are per 1 night with a 2-night minimum on weekends
Note: All tent rentals are pet-friendly!
Standard Overnight Package With The Pop-Up BNB
My daughter has been begging me for a backyard campout for at least a year. She has never been camping, so I was a little leery about how she would do tent camping away from home. Especially since she has been fearful of the dark.
If you have followed us for any amount of time, you quickly learn that my husband is not an outdoorsy person. Hence, we own no camping supplies outside of a few flashlights and a can of bug spray.
Before investing in a tent, air mattresses, sleeping bags, etc., I wanted to see if this would be something my daughter would enjoy. The thought of sleeping on the hard ground in a sleeping bag was not very appealing. Therefore, when I heard we had the option to sleep on a luxury air mattress in a fully furnished tent, I knew this was my type of backyard camping.
For Sophie’s Birthday, we opted for the Standard Overnight Package with The Pop-Up BNB. This one-of-a-kind glamping experience was just the unique birthday idea we had wanted.
Kelly and Andy arrived on time to set everything up right in our backyard. We quickly whisked Sophie away during set-up to her favorite breakfast spot, The Waffle House, before heading home for the big reveal.
We stepped out into our backyard to find the most darling tent waiting for us. Two cozy camp chairs were set up outside the tent, welcoming us. Unzipping the tent, you will first notice the stylish floor mats before focusing on the charming decor.
Each tent comes with a queen luxury airbed, bedding, and blankets all beautifully arranged, a bench, a side table, cute decor, and tons of additional camping supplies.
The Complete List:
- Camp Towels
- Floor Rugs
- Queen Air Mattress
- Bedding and Blankets
- Bench/luggage rack
- Side table
- 2 Camp Chairs
- Biodegradable Toilet Paper
- Shower Wipes
- Trash Bags
- Bear Spray (when camping in backcountry areas)
- First Aid Kit
- Playing Cards
- Electric Cords
- Tent Manual
- 2 Lanterns
- Tent Lighting
- Area Maps
You can always add on a few extras such as additional beds, chairs, and items such as:
- Campfire Starter
- Coffee Maker
- Colored Flame Packets
- Electric Fan
- Electric Heater
- Electricity Bank
- Folding Table
- French Press
- S’Mores Kit
- Movie Projector
- Party Decor Set-Up
- Propane Heater
- Tiki Torches
- Camp Stove
- Portable Pizza Oven
We opted to add the movie projector so that we could watch movies on the tent walls. The projector was easy to hook up, and we could display movies from our subscription services, such as Disney +.
The movie was such a hit that we invited the neighbors over for an evening of popcorn and movies in the tent while it rained the following evening.
As a parent, I enjoyed having the electricity bank to charge my phone and other portable devices right in the tent. We were also able to plug in a mini portable fan from the house as well.
Overall, our nights with the Pop-Up BNB were terrific. My daughter ended up staying out all night her first night and woke to the sounds of the birds in the morning. She adored it!
As for my husband, he threw in the towel at 1:30 am after my daughter got scared of the dark and insisted he sleep in her little cot so she could sleep with me!
Tip: If a train comes by your home at night, it will likely sound like you are camping directly on or near the tracks. Bring ear plugs to help with the noise.
No Backyard, No Problem
The Pop-Up BNB will come to you at a campsite, or you can sign up for one of the tours. During the tours, they set up a tent village where guests can rent the tents for the weekend at a selected location. Locations can vary from Kentucky, Ohio, or even in the New England states of Vermont, Maine, and New Hampshire.
