5 Upgrades You Need At Holiday World

Spread the love

Offering complimentary soft drinks, free parking, and unlimited sunscreen, Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari provide great perks to guests visiting the park.

Those looking to make the most of your theme park time or splurge on a bit of luxury, consider these Holiday World upgrades for your next visit.

A Games Playbook

If the allure of winning an overstuffed boa constrictor or an adorable life-size sloth captures your attention, consider investing in a Games Playbook. The Games Playbook costs $20 and comes with coupons that offer significant savings on games, along with a highly valuable single-use Quick Access Pass.

The Quick Access Pass is a skip-the-line pass valid on any Holiday World ride or one of the Splashin’ Safari’s Water Coasters for one person.

Digital Photo Pass

One of the most valuable souvenirs from any vacation is photographs.

Why not have Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari capture and keep those prime moments with a Digital Photo Pass? Multiple members of your group can get photos from your Photo Pass, so it is a win-win.

Don’t miss bringing home those moments of eternal embarrassment, absolute terror, and family fun frozen in time. If you plan on visiting for a day, consider the All-Day Photo Pass. Passholders can invest in the All-Season Photo Pass.

You can purchase these Passes at St. Nick’s Trading Company, The Voyage Gift Shop, and Photo locations at Thunderbird, Gobbler Getaway, and Frightful Falls.

Drone Show Dessert Party

Previously called the Elevated Experience in 2022 and 2023.

Spectacular Drone Shows at Holiday World & Splashin Safari leave guests gazing at the night sky in wonder and amazement. As if by magic, tiny drones paint the night, transforming it into incredible holiday scenes for Holidays in the Sky.

Get the best seat in the house to watch the show by purchasing a wristband for the Drone Show Dessert Party. Guests are escorted to an elite seating area for the DJ Dance Party and the drone show.

In addition to having incredible seating and chairs, you receive assorted snacks, desserts, and bottled water to enjoy while watching the show.

Elevate your experience even more with the Guided Tour with Drone Show Dessert Party.

In addition to the elevated drone show, you received 4 hours of escorted front-of-the-line privileges to all Holiday World Attractions plus the three Water Coasters in Splashin’ Safari.

A Cabana Rental

Indulge in comfort and privacy with a private Cabana rental in Splashin’ Safari—a luxurious oasis for your family and friends to retreat to all day long. Reservations are for eight people and include:

  • A locking cabinet
  • Mini fridge with eight bottles of water
  • The option for Premium Meals to be delivered to your cabana

Having younger children in tow, renting the cabana was a game-changer.

Pulling curtains closed for a nap or not scrambling to find a table for lunch made our park experience more enjoyable.

New for 2024: Splashin’ Safari has a Grand Cabana accommodating up to 16 people.

Platinum Season Pass

Passholders should consider upgrading their pass to a Platinum Pass for the ultimate upgrade and best perks.

Platinum Pass Perks

As first-time Platinum Pass holders, we found that the upgrade paid for itself after two visits. With 2x monthly Bring-A-Friend tickets, 20% off of food purchases, monthly $1 Food Deals, and admission all season, it is one upgrade that continues to provide benefits all season long.

Stay at Sun Outdoors Lake Rudolph

While technically not Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari, one of our favorite splurges worth mentioning is renting a cabin at nearby Sun Outdoors Lake Rudolph.

Only a stone’s throw from Holiday World, Lake Rudolph Campground and RV Resort offers charming furnished cabins, a complimentary shuttle to Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari, Blitzen Bay Swimming Pool, and many fun activities.

In between visits to the park, guests can opt to spend the day splashing at Santa’s Splashdown Waterpark inside Lake Rudolph for a small fee.

Many wonderful memories have been made gathered around the fire, catching fireflies and savoring the sticky sweetness of the last s’more.

Many of these upgrades require advance booking, so plan ahead to have the best experience!
