Queen With Lake View Room

Our recent stay was in a 2-queen lodge room with a lake view. The rooms are quite spacious, offering a good amount of space for families. Each room comes equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, cable TV, and a private balcony overlooking Lake Acton.

While the wood paneling and decor may seem dated, it adds to the lodge’s rustic charm. The room was clean, comfortable, and incredibly relaxing.

For those traveling with young children, a pack-n-play can easily fit multiple places throughout the hotel room.

Play A Round Of Disc Golf

Hueston Woods is home to the incredible disc golf course, “Distractions”. The course contains 27 holes with two sets of tees per hole to offer a greater variety of angles and levels of difficulty.

The course makes its way through the forest’s shade with particular holes ranging from novice to expert. A game of disc golf is an excellent addition to any family retreat in Ohio.

What is Disc Golf

Disc golf is similar to traditional golf; however, instead of using golf clubs and balls aiming for a hole, disc golf players use disc golf discs and aim for a disc golf basket, which is a pole extending up from the ground with chains and a basket where the disc lands.

The Distractions Disc Golf course’s first hole can be found within walking distance from the hotel parking lot, along with a practice tee. Guests can obtain discs to use at the front desk free of charge.

Play A Few Games At The Arcade

Bonus activity! Kids young and old can be found having fun in the indoor game room! Race against the clock to score the most hoops or enjoy one of their many play till you win games. The games run on credits which you can purchase at the game card stations.

The Fitness Center

A small fitness center is accessible through the Arcade. A keycard is needed for entry.
