Cabin Rentals
For a unique getaway, consider renting one of their beautiful cabins or rental campers. There are various layouts to choose from, including deluxe cabins with one or two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a full kitchen. Other cabins may include a screened-in porch, bunk beds, and a gas grill!
All of the cabins and campers come with an outdoor picnic table and campfire ring with cooking grate. Also, cabins and campers include the following: In-cabin WI-FI, Heating & AC, dinnerware, cookware, utensils, coffeemaker, and toaster (Pillows, bed, and bath linens are not included but can be rented). (Note: dinnerware, cookware, utensils, coffeemaker, and toaster is not available in the mini cabins).

Fun Lake Activities At Natural Springs Resort
The crown gem of Natural Springs Resort is the sparkling freshwater lake with a stunning rock quarry backdrop. This spring-fed lake offers tons of family fun activities such as snorkeling in the clear waters and relaxing on the beach to rent a boat.
As with many of the families at the resort, we spend a fair amount of time at the lake. The beach area is fenced in with the entrance at the Camp Store. Our daughter adored the beach, especially the shallower area, where it felt more like a toddler pool in the roped-off portion.
The rock formations throughout the lake can make individual sections very shallow and others deep. Signs will indicate where you can dive and swim.
The water is so clear it is easy to spot fish, plants, and rock formations. Therefore, don’t forget the goggles and snorkel gear! Because of the incredibly clear water, it is a popular lake with scuba divers. We got to witness many scuba divers suiting up for their underwater adventure. Scuba divers must have a license and purchase a scuba day pass.
Rent A Kayak or Paddle Boat
One of the best ways to experience the lake is by renting a kayak or paddleboat. Our daughter naturally voted for a paddleboat, so we got our work out in. Take your boat close to the rock walls to get an up-close view of these scenic formations. Take a quick peek into the water to watch fish of all shapes and sizes swim by. We took the paddle boat back into the connecting ponds for a scenic tour of the resort.
Wibits Inflatable Obstacle Course
During the summer months, guests can enjoy Wibits, a floating inflatable obstacle course on the lake. Guest age seven and older can purchase one hour passes to jump, climb, and splash till their heart’s content. Sadly, the Wibits course was closed for the season during our visit, but I am using it as an excuse to come back next year!
Play On The Playgrounds
There are two playgrounds and a basketball court located at Natural Springs. One playground is best for older kids, while the other one is perfect for toddlers. Both playgrounds do have bucket swings for little ones. My daughter loved the tire swing, which was easy for her to get on, but best of all was her making so many sweet little friends.
Rent A Golf Cart
In a close competition for favorite activity, renting one of Natural Springs Resort’s golf carts tops the list. My daughter could easily spend the afternoon riding through the campground, playground hopping, and making new friends. We enjoy taking a ride, whether it was to zip over to the Camp Store to grab graham crackers or drive-around taking in all the impressive campsites while jotting down tips for our next camping trip.

Beachside Grill can be found inside the Camp Store and is serving up freshly made pizzas. These delicious, made-to-order pizzas are perfect for taking back to your campsite, enjoying on the beach, at the pool, or fishing. Swim Some Laps
A popular family amenity that Natural Springs Resort has a large heated pool that is perfect for cooling off during the summer months. The side areas as loungers, tables and chairs, restrooms, and changing rooms. Grab lunch or a snack at the Beachside Grill to enjoy poolside.

Catch and Release
Spend a relaxing morning by the pond with a cup of coffee and a fishing pole. The pond is catch and releases only, with no permit needed. Bring the kids down to the lake to cast a line from one of the fishing docks. The beauty of fishing with kids at Natural Springs is there are plenty of things to do if the kids start to lose interest. Our daughter, who is three, lasted a whole five minutes before insisting we need to go to the beach because she has seen the fish there!
Things To Know Before You Go To Natural Springs Resort
- No outside firewood is allowed. Firewood can be purchased at the Camp Store and will be delivered to your campsite or cabin.
- The Camp Store sells a wide assortment of items. Bags of ice, bait for fishing, S’More supplies, bug spray, and other camping essentials that might have accidentally been forgotten.
- Shuffleboard is available. Equipment can be rented at the Camp Store.
- Quiet hours are from 11 pm to 8 am. Remember to be courteous of your fellow campers.
- Linens are not included in cabins/campers. Linens can be rented.
- COVID restrictions have postponed many of the daily events and family activities that are normally planned throughout the day.
- Halloween Weekends in October are very popular and book out nearly a year in advance! Be sure to snag your reservation early in the year!
