The eastside of Cincinnati is full of great activities, scenic parks, and plenty of shopping. One of the best places to do all of those things is at The Anderson Towne Center.

This is a mecca full of great retail shopping, family-friendly attractions, and amazing restaurants. The arrival of 2020 brings yet another great restaurant to The Anderson Towne Center, Tom & Chee.

If there is one thing my family loves it is a melty, cheesy, crispy grilled cheese sandwich. With the new addition of Tom & Chee in the Anderson Towne Center, this is easily going to become a staple in our mealtime routine.

Located at 7578 Beechmont Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45255, Tom & Chee is conveniently located right off one of the main entrances to the Towne Center. A fresh new interior is welcoming as guests order at the counter, pick a cozy table then relax as they wait for their food to arrive tableside.

Online Ordering, Delivery and Carry-out options are also available. During the warm weather months, they have a great patio that I know will be a hit. Here are a few reasons why you need to make time to dip into Tom & Chee one day.

Their Pick 2 Combos Are Incredible

Can’t decide between two different grilled cheese melts? Get them both. Want a soup and a salad, they have that as well.

We have all had days when you just want to try a little of this and a little of that. That is why I love the mix and match pick two combos. That way I can get my grilled cheese and tomato soup when its chilly outside or sit down with a salad and soup when I am in the mood for something on the lighter side.

Side note: they have tater tots and they are remarkable.

They Have More Than Grilled Cheese

From delicious melts to savory soups and fresh salads Tom & Chee’s menu offers something for everyone, including gluten-free bread, vegan cheese, vegan/vegetarian soups.

The Green Goat is a favorite salad option with mixed greens, creamy goat cheese, dried cranberries, almond, and a house-made vinegarette. Have I mentioned the tater tots yet?

They Have Kids Meals

A restaurant that has a quality grilled cheese with the option of fresh fruit is always a win in my book. The Kids meal-offering includes a Basic Chee, with a drink, choice of fruit, soup tots or mac ‘n cheese. The kid’s meal is quite large and will definitely satisfy those hungry bellies.

There Is A Grilled Cheese Donut

As if the creative melts weren’t enough Tom & Chee developed a dessert that is out of this world. Introducing the Famous Grill Chee Donut. Savory melted cheddar cheese between a sweet, grilled glazed donut will slap the tastebuds right out of your mouth. Tom & Chee didn’t stop there.

They now offer a Smore Donut-chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallow mascarpone inside a hot, grilled donut.

Plan The Perfect Family Afternoon At Anderson Towne Center

Anderson Towne Center is full of great family-friendly activities and restaurants. See above mentioned Tom & Chee. Depending on what your family enjoys there are quite a few ways to spend an afternoon exploring this fun eastside playland.

Make Your Own Candles

A great way to spend an afternoon is by developing your own personal candle at The Candle Lab. Kids will love smelling all the scents then developing their own fragrance. The candles do have to sit for 90 minutes before you can take them home.

This is the perfect time to go and grab a bite to eat before returning to grab your candle. Even if you don’t make it back in time to grab your candle they will hold for a set amount of time.

Soar at Sky Zone Trampoline Park

Burn off that extra energy by jumping till your heart’s content at Sky Zone. This trampoline park is covered from wall to wall with trampolines for endless fun. Enjoy a foam zone, dodgeball, hoops and more.

They even offer a toddler zone that is ideal for those little ones who are not quite ready to jump with the big kids yet. After all that jumping they are bound to work up an appetite so treat them to a kids meal at Tom & Chee.

Catch A Movie at AMC Theaters

A rainy day is always a great time to catch one of the season’s hottest movies. AMC Theaters is conveniently located in the Anderson Towne Center and gives families plenty of great options to do before and after the show. Not to mention plenty of great places to grab a bite to eat!

Do A Little Shopping

Whether you need to pick up a quick gift or do a little shopping for the family Anderson Towne Center has it all. Including a Kroger! With everything for popular retail stores like Macy’s to local boutiques, it is fun to explore all the stores this shopping center has to offer.

Enroll Your Children in Code Ninjas

This caught my eye while we were driving through the Anderson Towne Center. Another upcoming business is Code Ninjas. This unique coding center for kids will teach them programming skills by having them build video games and more. They will be offering camps, programs and parent’s nights out this will be a great addition to the Towne Center.
